Lets use some ribbon!!

Before I show you my Heart 2 Heart project for this week I would like to say a quick thank you to Mary Vogel and all of my design teammates Heart 2 Heart for making one of my goals come true!!  And boy what fun it has been!!  I have loved all of the challenges and had a great time particapting every other week! 
Now for my project !

I used this as a gift tag on my husbands fathers day gift.  The tag was cut using the Oh so awesome Art Philosophy cricut cartridge.  I used the Super Powers and the Take a Picture stamp set to make this tag.  He just loved it.  All the products used on this tag are availaible on my website at www.annlessner.myctmh.com

Black and White Challenge

This week at Heart 2 Heart we are using black and white and another pop of color.  For my card I used black and white and a pop of Lagoon ink.  I just love the contrast between the Lagoon and the base colors.

We are Distressing over at H2H this week!

No there isn't anything wrong, we are using distressing on our projects!  I love to distress my paper when I'm working on a card or scrapbook page. For my card I distressed the Grey Flannel square on the front, really roughing up the edges using my micro tip scissors.  I like using the scissors for this because you can really rough up the edges.  After I roughed them up I curled the corners up some so it really looked rough.  The tag slides out so that you can include a secret message to whom ever is getting the card.

We are celebrating mothers day at Heart 2 Heart

This week at Heart 2 Heart we are making a special something for mothers day.  For my project I am going to show you my mother in laws card.  She is quite the gardener and lives the color blue, so I thought this card would be perfect for her. 

For the flower I used the wonderfully awesome Art Philosophy cricut cartridge.  You can find it here on my website where you can shop 24 hours a day and even in your jammies.

Day 4 of Design team with Tsunami Rose Designs

Today I want to share with you a thank you card I made using one of Daisy Collins sketches that you can find on her blog at

Day 3 of my month as a designer for Tsunami Rose Designs

For todays card I decided to go a bit more victorian vintage.  I loved the sketch for today and knew what I was going to do almost from the start.  The stamp set I used is sadly retired.  I used hologram embodying powder for the butter fly and boy does it shimmer.  The paper pack is called sonoma and is available on my website to play along with us please visit www.tsunamirosedesigns.blogspot.com
